- Mandie Nadia BesterWhat made you decide to take up this course?Ever since I can remember, I had a special place for all things sweet and baked! At the age of 13 I knew I wanted to be in the hospitality industry… but hadn’t quite worked out the details yet to that dream.
The first thing I do when sitting down at a restaurant table and have the menu in my hands, is flip the pages to the dessert section as fast as possible, because my whole entire meal will be ordered according to what I will have for dessert. I am a true Sweet Tooth at heart!
I completed a Sugar Craft course with distinction at Prue Leith Chefs Academy in South Africa. Later that same year I joined The South African Cake Decorators Guild where I started studying all the “old school” techniques to decorating and later passed my first Instructors exam. After packing up and moving countries to the beautiful, inspiring and promising city of Dubai. I decided to pursue my education, which led me to enrol part time at ICCA for their Amateur Patisserie Program.Patisserie Fast TrackBangalore, IndiaPastry ChefICCA Dubai is a nice place to learn!
