One million dirham continuing education award for UAE young industry chefs

The industry focused Corporate Social Initiative

The objective of this Innovative Education - Industry Training Initiative is to annually train and support 30 numbers of talented & deserving, but financially underprivileged young chefs in the Industry through on Annual Continuing Education Award.

The program will be delivered in the form of a 52 Week - Day Release Course & Training at ICCA Dubai’s state of the art, purpose built and award winning training kitchen facilities.The course & training will comprise of the ICCA Dubai - International Chef Training Program (ICTP), IVQ Level 2 - Diploma in Food Preparation & Culinary Arts (8065 - 02), City & Guilds, London, Accredited Qualification, together with other Industry Skills Proficiency Trainings.

The Culinary Scholarship program for the UAE Hospitality Industry is being executed in strategic partnership with The Emirates Culinary Guilds (ECG) and suported by who’s who of the Industry.

We are looking for candidates

Who are

Young Chefs in the UAE Hospitality
Industry, less than 30 years of age

Talented, Committed, Truly deserving, with potential to Grow & are
Financially Underprivileged

Nominated by their Executive Chef

Who have

Good Communication skills- Read, Write & Speak English Well

Work Experience - 3 years or more as a Commis Chef, preferably having worked all around the kitchen

Who can

Norms for Candidate Selection

The ICCA Dubai Culinary Scholarship Selection Panel will select candidate from the UAE Hospitality Industry based on the following norms and criterion.

  1. Applicants need to be - Young Chefs in the UAE Hospitality Industry
  2. Candidates who are - Talented, Committed, Truly deserving, with potential to Grow but Financially Underprivileged.
  3. With - Good Communication skills- Read, Write & Speak English Well.
  4. Process - Work Experience - 3 Years or more as a Com mis Chef, preferably having worked all around the Kitchen.
  5. To Present - All supporting credentials & written recommendations.
  6. Clear the - Personal Interview with Selection Panel for the Final Selections.
ICCA Dubai International Chef Training Program (ICTP), IVQ Level 2 - Diploma in Food Preparation & Culinary Arts (8065 - 02/03),City & Guilds, London, Accredited Qualification and other Industry Skills proficiency.
