    Apart from a premium mockup restaurant setting for live demonstrations, the ICCA Dubai’s state of the art training kitchens are designed to support video recording & live webcast.

    Trained Student Chefs for Internship & Active Placement

    As part of its vocational training ICCA Dubai also helps its students acquire active work place exposure and hands–on experience necessary to seamlessly integrate, and effectively deliver in the hospitality industry.

    ICCA Dubai also helps create value addition to the Chefs trained and for the prospective employers as well, by way of a unique last mile outlet specific customization program.  Thereby young chefs and cooks, with a high level of culinary skills and a broad Commercial Cookery knowledge base, are made available for internship and active placement in the Hospitality and Cruise line Industry, internationally.

    International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA) Dubai is a State of the Art Vocational Education Training (VET) Centre, to teach and train International Commercial Cookery, based on Classical Continental Cuisine and popular Regional Specialties from the world over.  

    Established in 2005, ICCA Dubai’s mission is to become the leading culinary training provider in the Middle East and redefine the way in which professional & personal culinary training is delivered across the region.
     

    ICCA Dubai has been featured amongst the Top 10 Culinary institutes in the World and awarded the “Recognition of Quality Culinary Education” by the World Association of Chefs Societies (World Chefs), a global authority on food and food standards. The “Recognition of Quality Culinary Education” award seeks to recognize training and education that meets or exceeds the culinary standards education established by WACS.

    The Academic Faculty here is City & Guilds certified and deliver industry-centered training, with an integrated approach for the refinement of Food Production and Kitchen Management Skills, thus enabling students to seamlessly integrate, effectively deliver and excel in the Hospitality and Cruise Line industry internationally.  

    ICCA Dubai due to its success in delivering the highest quality of vocational training has been awarded the right to offer the prestigious City & Guilds London, International Bursary. The Bursary awards, deserving candidates from financially underprivileged backgrounds in select countries around the world, to achieve a City & Guilds qualification.

    ICCA Dubai is a very comfortable and sophisticated learning environment. Classrooms and work areas are centrally air-conditioned, modern, spacious and equipped with all the latest technologies & aids.

    ICCA Dubai courses are of a high academic standard and are industry centered. They focus on hands-on practical training as well as theoretical and professional training, enabling students to seamlessly integrate and excel in the industry.  

    The Programs at ICCA Dubai are intensive. The course and training is delivered simulating the industry work environment. 
     

    Successful completion of the Diploma program at ICCA Dubai, enables candidates to opt for Work Experience Placement in the UAE or in international cruise lines.

    ICCA Dubai's multi lingual staff can also provide language assistance in certain languages, when required. We offer complete academic support for students by providing help with academic work and academic counseling.

    ICCA Dubai is a City & Guilds London approved centre delivering City & Guilds accredited International Vocational Qualifications (IVQ) and Certifications for its bespoke programs as a City & Guilds London Accredited Centre.  

    Professional, Amateur & Barista Programs offered here adhere to the International Vocational Qualification - IVQ, guidelines and standards, accredited by the City & Guilds, London, that ensure high quality skills and competency based education & training.  
    Sugar Craft Programs offered here adhere to the PME Knightsbridge London, guidelines and standards, that ensure high quality skills and competency based education & training.  

    The Gelato training programs offered at ICCA Dubai are in association with Carpigiani Gelato University, Italy.  

    ICCA Dubai Food Safety Programs are accredited by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance, UK.  The Food Safety qualifications issued are Internationally Recognized by Ofqual, DCELLS, CCEA, SQA, UK and Dubai Municipality Approved.

    World Chefs
    The International Centre for Culinary Arts, Dubai, has been awarded the “Recognition of Quality Culinary Education” by the World Association of Chefs Societies (World Chefs), a global authority on food and food standards.

    DKV
      All programs offered at the International Centre for Culinary Arts, Dubai, are recognized by the Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) Government of Dubai, UAE.   DKV is a unique knowledge hub dedicated to Human Resource Management and Learning excellence that strives to develop the region’s talent pool and offer the best selection of Human Resource Management, Consultation, Training and Personal Development programs.  

    Dubai Municipality
      The Food Safety Programs offered at ICCA Dubai are all recognized by the Food Safety Department, Dubai Municipality, Government of Dubai, UAE.  

    National Qualification Authority (NQA) UAE
      ICCA Dubai is registered with the National Qualification Authority (NQA) UAE.

    Upon successful completion of the prescribed Guided Learning Hours the internal theoretical and practical examinations at ICCA Dubai, a Certificate of Completion, attested by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Ministry of Education, Government of Dubai, UAE, is issued for the Diploma & Amateur programs in Cookery & Patisserie and the Barista Business program.  

    Upon successful completion of City & Guilds International Examination held online at ICCA Dubai on completion of the course, the City & Guild IVQ qualification is awarded for the Diploma & Amateur programs in Cookery & Patisserie and the Barista Skills program.  

    PME Knightsbridge London Diplomas are awarded on completion of each Sugar Craft  module.  On completion of all three modules a
    “Master Crafter Certificate” is awarded.
     

    Upon successful completion of each Gelato program a certificate is awarded from the CARPIGIANI GELATO UNIVERSITY, Italy.  

    Upon successful completion of the Basic Food Safety course the candidates are awarded Certificates of Completion, attested by the Dubai Municipality (DM), Government of Dubai, UAE. For all other Food Safety Courses, upon successful completion of the HABC Examination, HABC Certification - Internationally Recognized by Ofqual, DCELLS, CCEA and SQA, UK, is awarded.  

    ICCA Dubai Lifestyle Classes are hobby class, hence are not formally certified. A Letter of Participation is issued upon request.

    Work Experience Placement (WEP) follows the over 620 hours of intensive on campus guided learning and training. The WEP program, provides student chefs with valuable hands on involvement in the industry-working environment by way of a paid work experience and paves the way for further career opportunities.  

    The work experience placement program is not mandatory for the diploma qualification.  

    Placement for the paid WEP Program is arranged by way of on-campus interviews.  The placement contracts are directly agreed to, between the candidates and the Human Resource (HR) Department of the respective employing company.
     

    ICCA Dubai provides all coordination support for the first confirmed paid WEP Program on a No Cost Basis, at the Commis Chef (III, II or I) levels in the UAE / GCC Countries or on leading international cruise lines NCL, USA.

    Yes. As soon as you pay your tuition fees, they are held in a bank account administered by ICCA Dubai and they are not accessed until you begin your course.

    Instalment plans are not available for overseas students (International Admissions).  

    For the Diploma and Amateur programs in Cookery & Patisserie, Installments are available to UAE Residents (UAE Admissions). All instalments must be secured by way of postdated cheques. Kindly enquire at the admission office for details.

    One could chose to make an online enquiry using the respective program Online Enquiry Form, upon which all details on the program such as Program Brief, Prospectus etc. would be emailed with detailed instructions on the admission procedures.  

    Alternatively, you could come to ICCA Dubai in person and apply.

    Yes, ICCA Dubai has procedures & policies and the same is made available at the time of admission.

    Dubai has a sub tropical and arid climate; sunny blue skies and high temperatures may be expected most of the year and rainfall is infrequent and irregular, falling mainly in the winter.  

    Temperatures range from a low of around 10˚ Celsius in winter to a high of 48˚ Celsius in the summer. The mean daily maximum is 24˚Celsius in January, rising to 42˚ Celsius in August.

    No matter what your hobbies, likes and interests are, you are sure to discover lots of things to see and do in Dubai. We urge all our students to go out and explore.

    While the cost of living will depend on your lifestyle, students usually need around AED 1,000/- per month to cover personal expenditures, as accommodation and food are provided in the package offered.

    There are several medical centres in the city near ICCA Dubai and the hostel accommodation facility.
